Holy Cross Co-Ed Backpacking & Summit Hike

Join the 121 Retreat community on a two-day co-ed backpacking trip and summit hike to Mount of the Holy Cross—an iconic Colorado wilderness setting that invites both physical challenge and spiritual reflection.

We’ll depart Denver at 9:00 AM on August 7, backpack into the basin, establish camp, and share meals and time together. On August 8, weather and conditions permitting, we’ll complete the summit experience and return to Denver by 6:00 PM.

Transportation is available, and limited backpacking gear can be provided upon request on a first-come, first-served basis. Meals are included; participants should bring their own water and personal trail snacks.

This experience is best suited for those with prior backpacking and high-altitude hiking experience who are seeking an immersive wilderness encounter with God. All participants will be asked to complete a pre-hike planning session to ensure individual readiness.
