About the event
A dayJoin us for a peaceful winter morning in the Colorado high country combining backcountry travel, shared breakfast, and spiritual reflection. Biscuits and Jesus is designed to create space for stillness, conversation, and encountering God in creation.
We’ll meet at 8:00 AM at the Mayflower Gulch trailhead and travel together into the backcountry. Participants may snowshoe, backcountry ski, or splitboard depending on experience and equipment. This is a non-competitive outing focused on community rather than mileage or vertical gain.
Warm biscuits, breakfast items, and trail snacks will be provided, along with guided devotional time and opportunities for quiet reflection. We’ll return to the trailhead around 11:00 AM.
Avalanche and touring gear are required for those skiing or splitboarding. Snowshoes are required for hikers; a limited number are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Participants should be comfortable spending several hours outdoors in winter conditions.
